Our Mission is to provide information and referrals, advocacy and support for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families: to help families identify qualified professionals in their communities; to assist families in securing benefits and services provided by law; and to promote lifelong opportunities for persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder in order to be fully included members of their communities.
Our Vision is that all individuals affected with Autism Spectrum Disorder will enjoy a better quality lifestyle.
10th Annual Walk for Autism Awareness
It is that time of the year and we are gearing up for our 10th Annual Walk for Autism Awareness. So join us on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at First Baptist New Orleans. The Autism Society of Greater New Orleans appreciates donations in support of our Mission to provide information and referrals, advocacy, and support for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families. Autism affects 1 in 50 school-age children and their families, a significant increase in prevalence over previous years.
