Autism Awareness Walk
The 2013 Autism Awareness Walk was held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the PepsiCo Center at Augustana College, Rock Island, IL. Photos of the walk are on the photo page at right.
The Adult Support Group (led by Karen Perry) will meet the 2nd Sunday of every month beginning 11/10/13 from 1- 3 PM at Hand In Hand, 3860 Middle Rd., Bettendorf, IA. The meeting will be held in the Purple Room in the lower level; enter through the back door. We have a support group for family members affected by autism spectrum disorders. The group will have one meeting for adults and another for children, meeting the first Thursday of each month (except for July and December) at the Robert Young Center Outpatient Facility in Moline, IL. We have a social support group for young adults with autism. It is called the YES! Support Group (Young, exuberant spectrumites). It meets the first Friday of each month at 6:30 P.M. with locations changing depending on the activity. For more information, contact Terry Schlabach at 563-333-6279 or by email at email@example.com.
